and when i saw her

she looked like my late mother

stepped into a dream

I dreamt perfection

Cool days, loud laughs, and sunsets

Sundays are those dreams

An urge so strong that

I carried sleeping thoughts and

Woke them on paper

Lately I’ve been beat

Lost in thoughts, and stuck in time

My dreams have cold feet

And every time I cross a bridge

I close my eyes tightly

Because only in my dreams

Could something terrify and excite me at the same time

Maybe that’s why I’ve only dreamt of telling you just how much I love you

There are some things reality just can’t handle…
